Prescription acne and peel for depressed acne scars

Well, the truth is, there is no miracle cure for acne. Treating acne requires hard work and discipline. You will need to look for a long-term solution rather than the overnight miracle that promises to take the zits away the next day. What you need is a skin care system that targets you acne problem, a change in your lifestyle and habits, as well as using proper acne products.
Generally it is best to start using this type of product with only a small amount of benzoyl peroxide; in fact no more than 5.5 percent is recommended just to see how the skin reacts. There are alternatives to this including products which contain alpha hydroxy acid. You might have to try a few different creams or lotions before you find the acne skin care product that is effective for you're skin. If nothing you try seems to work, you should contact a dermatologist.
Treatment for mild scalp pimples can be as easy as buying an over the counter medication such as salicylic acid. This solution works to remove dirt and oil which block the pores in the scalp area which causes the acne. Over the counter products are not long term solutions so another topical medication may be needed. The only problem with this method is that such products containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide can dehydrate the scalp and even bleach the hairline. Therefore, careful use of these products is recommended. Stay clear of products containing sulfur. Abrasions of the skin can take place with the use of sulfur making the scalp pimples even worse.
